AAAAAANYWAY….. I’ve not been on the ‘net for a while. Some of you may wonder why, the couple of you who actually come here still. The reasons are many, but the main one amongst them is that John forbade me to use his computers after the “Hot Chocholate Incident” of late November 2007. I, unfortunately, can’t talk about that (my lawyer suggested it would be a good idea to not talk about pending court cases - of course my lawyer is a Cat, and doesn’t have a law degree, but Chester SWEARS she knows what she’s talking about - but I digress…)

So, if John forbade me from using his computers, how am I on here? That’s easy! What John doesn’t know (and if any of you tell him, sharp pointy objects are in your future) won’t hurt him

Not a whole lot has been going on with me lately, John has been home a LOT more the past few months and honestly, it’s starting to infringe on my mojo. He’s nice and all (when he’s not snoring so loud the whole house shakes, or rolling over on me, or banning me from his computers..) but really… I wanna go out and have adventures, and he won’t let me!

Like the other day, my friend Barry - a hawk that lives in the area - wanted to take me out flying with him. John said noooooo, something about Barry not a.) being licensed to carry passengers (some stupid FAA rule…) and b.) not having the proper safety equipment. Apparently he doesn’t get the fact that BIRDS DONT HAVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND AREN’T SUBJECT TO FAA REGULATIONS! I know he is just looking out for my well being, but COME OOOOOOONNNNNNN! I just want to have fun!

ANYWAY, I got tired of the rut I was stuck in, and am ready to start entertaining readers again. I never did get around to moving the articles off the old server - they’re still there on that server, I may try to do that, but I may not. I’m definitely not the computer wizard John is.

I’ve taken the liberty of hijacking his dreamhost account and setting my blog up on it.

I’m still working out how to move my old posts over to the new servers,  as I opted to do a fresh install of wordpress instead of trying to migrate everything as I understand John did with his own site.    It should be possible to do, though, so hopefully that will happen soon.    I’ll be working (tomorrow) on setting up a new theme and customizing things,   I’ll post a new Adventure of Fred the Frog after I’ve got all that completed.
